Educational Program

The primary goal of the formal educational program is to provide a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, evidence-based curriculum to our fellows. The program includes a weekly series of lectures that utilizes the content outline as stipulated by the American Board of Anesthesiology. This weekly lecture is coordinated by the Anesthesiology CCM faculty and boasts of many guest speakers as experts in their fields.  Unit leaders, NPs, PAs, and ICU care staff attend various lectures throughout the year with the fellows.  We also have a monthly board review series (last Thursday on each month) to prepare fellows for the written examination. Fellows will also be required to complete the newly established American Board of Anesthesiology In-Training Exam for Critical Care Medicine.
