The emphasis of the fellowship is on
- Development of the fellow as a simulation educator

- Publication of the fellow’s work
The education fellowship provides the foundation of a career in simulation education and research. Over the course of the fellowship, the fellow will interact with a variety of educators, clinicians, simulation specialists, and engineers. Dr. Keith Littlewood, co-director of the Medical Simulation Center, provides direct supervision of the fellow.
Because this is a faculty position at the Instructor level, candidates must apply through the University of Virginia centralized hiring portal, Jobs@UVA. The fellowship in education is posting #0615236.
Our Employment web page has general more information about applying for employment through UVA’s hiring portal, Jobs@UVA.
Applicants will need to provide a CV, two reference letters, and a statement of interest. The typical term of fellowship is one year, from July 1 to June 30. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and the small size of the fellowship allows for individualization regarding job duties and dates.
