Favorite things to do in Charlottesville: Hiking, the farmers markets, and all the vineyards! There is so much to do.

Why did you choose UVA? I was looking for a program with a supportive environment that would prepare me to handle any situation as an attending. On interview day, I got the impression that the training at UVA is exceptionally strong across all subspecialties, especially given the absence of fellows. I also felt a genuinely warm, welcoming, and supportive culture, and I connected well with everyone I met!
