Why did you choose UVA? I really enjoyed the laidback conversations I had with faculty and residents during my interview. The early exposure to anesthesia as a PGY-1 and the opportunity to care for high-acuity patients are unique strengths of the program as well. I also wanted to remain in Virginia to stay close to home and continue advocacy efforts with the Virginia Society of Anesthesiologists.
