Why did you choose UVA? I was so impressed by how ready our residents are to hit the ground running after residency, whether in fellowship or first attending job. The early anesthesia experience intern year followed by early specialty exposure really set UVA apart for me. Not to mention the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and outdoorsy culture with a 10/10 local music scene!
Anesthesiology Interests: I discovered that I love all the specialties. I truly couldn’t decide. I find OB so exciting, regional so rewarding, and peds so fun. So I plan to stay general and do a little bit of everything!
What’s the best piece of career advice you ever got?: Every patient is a learning experience.
