Jennifer Phillips is an accomplished Clinical Research Manager in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia, where she leads a dynamic team of Clinical Research Coordinators and oversees a diverse portfolio of clinical trials. With over 30 years of experience in clinical research and nursing, she brings deep expertise in managing drug and device trials, including FDA regulatory submissions and protocol development. Her previous leadership in workforce development as Director of Research Workforce Development for the integrated Translational Health Research Institute of Virginia (iTHRIV) reflects her commitment to building research capacity and fostering inclusive, well-trained teams across institutions. A certified clinical research coordinator since 2002, she is widely recognized for her contributions to translational science, educational programming, and collaborative research initiatives.
