Dr. Meyer is a leading researcher on the subject, a steering-committee member of Virginia Clinicians for Climate Action, and co-chair of the UVA Health Sustainability Committee. He also co-founded <a href=\"https:\/\/click.mc.virginia.edu\/?qs=72a5c17c2e7dc55802d12cdc51bb5c4402df92642d826e516aa814366e52e55fbacb7019ee98720b0b2a47ef814d8f24c1e212bd3032dea9e93d1256090df6d8\">Periop Green,<\/a> whose goal is to develop technology to reduce operating room waste to the least amount possible.
