Lauren is a 2nd year Communication Disorders major in the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. She currently works under Dr. Ritterband and Dr. Ingersoll, focusing on the Bump2Be and CARRII studies. Lauren hopes to attend medical school after her four years at UVa. Outside of BHT, Lauren is involved with Young Life, mentoring high school girls, and with the acapella group, the No Tones. In her free time, Lauren likes to be outdoors – hiking or running, especially in the Charlottesville area, but she also loves to travel. It is Lauren’s goal to travel to all 48 National Parks in the United States.
