Abigail Wolpe was recently awarded an NIH F31, an Individual Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) which began on 8/1/19. Abby is a Cell Biology degree candidate in lab of Brant Isakson. Her research focuses on uncovering the role of Pannexin 3 in the vascular endothelium, with particular interest in its contribution to systemic blood pressure regulation.
