Sarb is a Microbiology degree candidate in David Kashatus\u2019 lab and the title of his project is \u201cPhysiological Role of Dynamin-Related Protein 1 in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma\u201d. He is studying the role of Dynamin Related Protein 1 (Drp1), the large GTPase required for mitochondrial fission, in pancreatic cancer using both a genetically engineered mouse model as well as human xenograft model.
