The Covid-19 pandemic revealed numerous weaknesses in our healthcare system, including treatment inequality and provider burnout. Dr. Mathieu, also a writer, believes that poetry can play a small but meaningful role in addressing these challenges. In this interview, she offers poetry recommendations for those in the medical field who wish to enhance their empathy and focus on equity in healthcare.<\/p>\n
