Data Sources & Interactive Maps

BPSSR hosts a wide range of datasets, both publicly accessible and restricted. These datasets encompass diverse information sources, from the American Community Survey by U.S. Census to exclusive BRFSS data, as well as comprehensive statewide and nationwide healthcare claims and medical records data.

The UVA Cancer Atlas is a data visualization effort by the UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center (UVACCC) to generate insight on cancer burden (incidence & mortality), cancer risk factors, and population summaries of both the UVACCC Catchment Area and the state of Virginia.
