The Blue Ridge Poison Center is hosting a free virtual presentation, “Poison-Proof the Preschool Years: Partnering with Families to Keep Children Safe,” designed for preschool teachers, childcare providers, and other early learning professionals. The Zoom session will cover strategies for preventing childhood poisoning and equip attendees with practical tools to share with the families they serve. Participants will receive a free Poisoning Prevention Toolkit, along with magnets and stickers to distribute, plus a certificate of participation. Two session times are available: Thursday, September 24, from 7 to 8 p.m., or Saturday, September 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. Registration is free but required
