UVA Comprehensive Cancer’s Brain Metastases Research Collaborative (BMETS-RC) brings together faculty with varied scientific and clinical specialties, focused on different stages of the translational research pipeline – from basic and population science to therapeutics – to advance the science of brain metastases prevention, detection, treatment and survivorship. BMETS-RC aims to serve as the engine behind clinical innovation, bridging bench discovery and bedside care, and is the only multidisciplinary brain metastases program in Virginia.
