The UVA Brain Metastases Research Collaborative draws on some of the most accomplished researchers in neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, and population science. What sets this team apart is not only the depth of expertise in each specialty, but the degree to which these investigators work together. Sharing data, co-authoring studies, and meeting weekly to review patient cases and research questions side by side is a hallmark of BMETS-RC. The result is a collaborative model where clinical insight and scientific inquiry reinforce each other at every step.
