Required study document storage in Florence eBinders

All HSR Expedited and Full Board studies that received IRB approval on or after July 1, 2024, are required to maintain regulatory documentation in Florence eBinders. This requirement supports standardized, compliant document management across studies and helps ensure records are organized, accessible for monitoring visits and audits. Study teams should confirm that applicable studies are actively maintained in Florence and that all essential regulatory documents are uploaded in a timely manner.

As we prepare for our transition to Advarra eReg by the end of the year, all documents stored in Florence when your study is transferred will be moved for study teams as part of the migration process. Teams will not be responsible for moving documents themselves, so maintaining complete and up-to-date binders in Florence now will help ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
