Billing Coverage Analysis

A billing coverage analysis is required for all studies which involve an intervention. It is used in determining which items and services may be billed to Medicare and private insurance based upon current Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) benefit policies, national and local coverage determinations, and federal guidelines. The billing analysis will be used as a roadmap against which billing will be monitored and audited. This analysis can also help to determine the best possible budget proposal to use in negotiating the budget with the funding sponsor.
