Cancer.Net Coping Witht Cancer	Cancer.net	Provides doctor-approved patient information from ASCO. Sections include managing emotions, caring for a loved one, physical, emotional, and social effects of cancer, talking with family and friends, finding social support and information, and cancer from the oncologist's perspective.

American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR)	AICR.org 1-800-843-8114	This organization researches the role of diet and nutrition in the prevention and treatment of cancer. AICR offers guidance on ways to help you eat and live a healthier life, including providing recipes.
MedlinePlus	medlineplus.gov 1-877-696-6775	Produced by the National Library of Medicine, it is the world’s largest medical library that provides information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues. Also, has information from the National Institutes of Health.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)	cdc.gov 1-800-CDC-INFO (1-800-232-4636)	The CDC works to protect Americans from disease and health threats by providing health information and conducting scientific research. Many of the resources are also available in Spanish.

Its mission is to gain knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability. The NIH website publishes news and media articles about new research being conducted.

This website also provides articles and steps to take to create a quit plan, as well as smokefree apps and access to local and state quitlines.
Quit for Life Program	quitnow.net 1-866-QUIT-4-LIFE (1-866-784-8454)	This FREE program is hosted by the American Cancer Society. Trained professionals will be your Quit Coach and will help you create a quitting plan. Through expert support and assistance, your Quit Coach will help discover what type of nicotine substitute is right for you as well as tips for helping you overcome withdrawal symptoms.
National Institutues of Health (NIH) Aim for a Healthy Weight	nhlbi.nih.gov	Aim for a Healthy Weight provides information, tools, and resources to help you understand how to reach and maintain a healthy weight.
US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)	epa.gov	The EPA discusses what Radon is and solutions for elimination. There is also a link to assist you in finding a radon test kit or mitigation professional.
