iLab service laboratory management system

The cores under the Office of Research Core Administration now using the iLab system for most billing and instrument reservations. iLab replaces CORES which has merged with iLab.

iLab has more reporting options and using the instrument reservation module will give a consistent system across the cores, and provide a more integrated way of billing for instrument use. Users will need access to a PTAO from a PI allow the core to bill for use.

If you get an LDAP Invalid Credentials message, possibly your Eservices count has been disabled due to lack of use; to re-enable the account, call Access Management at 434.924.0817 (accounts-access@virginia.edu).

See instructions for registering in iLab using your computing i.d. e.g. abc1de. You need to have an active Eservices account  to register; Health System accounts cannot be used for registering in iLab.

If you do not know your Eservices password, go to:
https://whois.virginia.edu/password/
or call the Help Desk at 434-924-4357 to reset it. Eservices accounts are automatically made for everyone. Eservices allows access to UVa Exchange Service, library computers, Home Directory Service, and other services.
