Founded in 1924, the University of Virginia Department of Dermatology is the oldest dermatology department in the region. Its mission is to provide the most comprehensive and patient-oriented care, while providing the widest array of clinical services, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and educating residents to be the next leaders in our field.
