Dr. Eslam Montaser received his B.Sc in Statistics and Computer science and M.Sc degree in Statistics and Computer science from the Department of Mathematics, Mansoura University, Egypt in 2006 and 2007, respectively. In 2013, he received the M.Sc degree in Mathematical Engineering from the Department of Mathematics, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain. In 2014, he have been a researcher in the Tecnología UCM research group at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. In 2017, he have been a visiting researcher at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago, IL, USA. In 2020, Dr. Montaser received a Ph.D. degree in automation, robotics, and industrial computer science from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), València, Spain. His main research interests include data analysis, stochastic modeling and data mining in diabetes, statistical pattern recognition, time series analysis, machine learning, mathematical modeling, big data analysis, biomedical applications, and predictive modeling of physiological systems. In 2021, he joined the Center for Diabetes Technology (CDT) as a research associate. Aside from work, Dr. Montaser enjoys playing soccer, tennis table, running, and family time.
