Professional Activities:
At the Center for Diabetes Technology, Aymen has completed significant enhancements to continuous glucose monitoring systems within the Novo Diabetes Management study and is currently focused on the development of the iDiAs app’s database architecture. His responsibilities also extend to optimizing UI and backend integration, ensuring cohesive operations between front and backend systems. This position demands ongoing collaboration with software developers, medical professionals, and PhD students to integrate clinical insights for improved patient outcomes. Additionally, Aymen completed an internship at PwC which involved conducting a financial analysis study for BSIC Bank of The Gambia under IFRS 9, where he developed strategic tools to enhance financial transparency.
Personal Activities:
Outside of his academic and professional life, Aymen is an avid soccer enthusiast and an artist. Having played soccer professionally in Tunisia, he continues to enjoy playing and watching the sport. He also explores his creativity through drawing and painting, finding it a relaxing and fulfilling hobby.
