UVA&#8217;s clinic, one of 100 accredited adult cystic fibrosis programs in the nation and one of only four in Virginia, is the adult component of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uvahealth.com\/locations\/profile\/cystic-fibrosis-center\">CF Care Center at UVA<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, UVA&#8217;s Adult CF program successfully applied to join a <strong>Learning and Leadership Collaborative<\/strong>, a joint initiative of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cff.org\/\">CF Foundation<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/tdi.dartmouth.edu\/research\/intervention\/microsystem-academy\">Dartmouth Institute Microsystem Academy<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0The Dartmouth Institute works with the UVA CF team on an on-going quality improvement (QI) training program called &#8220;Fundamentals Learning and Leadership Collaborative&#8221; (Fun LLC).<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/news.med.virginia.edu\/medicinematters\/uvasomrestriction\/public\/2017\/02\/09\/improving-the-care-experience-for-patients-with-cystic-fibrosis-uvas-cf-center-wins-renewal-of-collaborative-learning-grant\/\">More&#8230;<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UVA&#8217;s Cystic Fibrosis Center Awarded Second QI Collaborative Learning Grant by Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Dartmouth Institute &#8212; The\u00a0UVA Adult Cystic Fibrosis program,\u00a0under the direction of Pulmonary Medicine&#8217;s\u00a0Dana Albon, MD, provides state-of-the art care for patients with cystic fibrosis (CF), utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
