Through the leadership of Gregory Saathoff, MD<\/strong>, forensic psychiatrist and Professor of Emergency Medicine and Public Health Sciences, UVA School of Medicine \u2014 the UVA Health Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management Program is being recognized as a model for best practices in the American Hospital Association (AHA) and FBI publication, \u201cBehavioral Threat Assessment and Management | Prevent and Protect; A Resource Compendium for Further Learning.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The program is highlighted in the article on page 4, \u201cThreat Assessment and Management in the Real World: The University of Virginia Medical Center,\u201d co-authored by \u2014 and pictured, from left: Ed Markowski, MA, LPC, CTM<\/strong>, Director, Threat Assessment, UVA; Andrew E.
