Bio & Overview
I am a health services researcher and Director of the Southeastern Rural Mental Health Research Center. I am interested in mental health service delivery to poor, under-served and rural communities. In particular, I design and implement service delivery models for disenfranchised rural women who are diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I am currently funded by the National Institute of Mental health to examine treatment for mental health conditions in rural, impoverished, and minority populations and the effects of treatment on mental health outcomes.
