{"id":1731245,"date":"2025-06-17T11:19:49","date_gmt":"2025-06-17T15:19:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/faculty\/faculty-listing\/reh6wa\/"},"modified":"2025-12-19T14:20:30","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T19:20:30","slug":"reh6wa","status":"publish","type":"faculty-listing","link":"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/faculty\/faculty-listing\/reh6wa\/","title":{"rendered":"Zhou, Anny Xiaobo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the development of chronic lung disease, repetitive environmental insults\/injuries,\u00a0such as cigarette smoke, respiratory viruses infection and allergy lead to ineffective repair in the genetically susceptible subjects.
