I developed a passion for primary care and public health while pursuing my undergraduate degree in Health Science at the University of Florida. I was drawn to UVA for medical school after discovering its Generalist Scholars Program that is designed to train future leaders in primary care. I have been able to pursue my interests in primary care, compassionate care, and public health while here at UVA. I received both my Master of Public Health degree and my MD at UVA in 2016. I loved it here so much, I decided to stay for my residency in Family Medicine. Now, I consider Charlottesville my home, and I am very excited to be spending another year in the Department of Family Medicine. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages and aim to provide high quality, evidence based care in an empathic and collaborative way. I’m excited to grow my skills in patient care, teaching, and information mastery during the next year in the Fellowship. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing jigsaw puzzles, and listening to oldies music.
