My name is Danielle Oliver and I am from College Park, Maryland. I stayed in that area for my undergraduate experience and received a BS in Marketing from the University of Maryland in 2012. The following year, I interned for U.S. Congressman Steny Hoyer in his district office. Now you may be wondering, how did she end up here? Well, I was always passionate about helping others achieve health and wellness. However, I realized that many different factors determine a person\u2019s health- his income, his education level, his family dynamics. I wanted a broader perspective on these social aspects before entering medical school.<\/p>\n<p>After medical school, I hope to practice family medicine and focus on preventive care. I am interested in yoga and meditation and would like to incorporate these practices, other features of wellness and self-care, into my practice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!
