Nutrition Support Self-Study Traineeship Manual
The UVA Nutrition Support Manual
The UVA Nutrition Support Traineeship manual is a comprehensive self-study manual that addresses nutrition assessment, monitoring, critical care nutrition, enteral and parenteral nutrition, surgical nutrition support, interpreting/evaluating medical research, and more. The manual is a fully referenced review of many nutrition support topics. It is meant to be both evidence based and practical. See the list of modules below and the Introduction to the Manual for more information on content.
The manual is available for purchase as a self-study resource. You do not need to attend a program to purchase the manual and complete the self-study. Participants in our 3 or 5-day onsite Nutrition Support Traineeship programs receive a manual as part of their registration fee.
