Reserve Tickets for I’m not Racist….Am I?

The Office of Graduate Medical Education, with our partners in the School of Nursing and Department of Public Health Sciences, is pleased to be one of more than twenty community sites to host the documentary, I’m not Racist….Am I? The film is a 90-minute feature documentary about twelve NYC teenagers who spend a year talking about racism (2014). The teens attend five intense workshops and have conversations over the course of the year. The year challenges their relationships with their friends, within their own families, and most of all, within themselves. Each presentation will be followed by a facilitated discussion, as required by the producers.

There will be two opportunities to view the documentary at the UVA Health System: Tuesday February 20th and Friday, March 9th from 5:30-8:30 in the Education Resource Center (ERC) conference rooms*** . Doors will open at 5:30 with light refreshments. The screening will begin at 6pm. Please reserve up to two tickets for either of the two screenings. If you are unable to make either of these screenings, please see the following list for other opportunities in the community.
