Visiting Rotations
This process applies to GME Trainees actively enrolled in a training program outside of UVA.
Observerships are handled directly by the program. Please reach out to them to arrange an observing rotation at UVA.
We’re piloting a new process for visiting rotations! Please start with the form below.
This form requires your UVA Computing ID log-in to access via the Health System Intranet.
Step 1
The UVA Program Coordinator must submit the GME Visiting Trainee Form at least 60 days before the rotation start date.
Step 2
The coordinator and trainee will receive a copy of the approved application. The checklist for submitting remaining documents will be emailed approximately 30 days before the rotation start date.
