How UVa is Handling the FLSA Changes Institutionally

Effective December 1, 2016, the Department of Labor raised the minimum salary threshold to qualify for exempt status to $47,476.

UVA has made an institutional decision that exempt employees falling under this threshold will receive salary increases to the new minimum.
