Research Description
Margaret Kosek, MD, is an internal medicine doctor specializing in treating adults with both common and chronic, complex infections. She is committed to working with patients and other providers to make sure patients receive the treatment and support they need to reach the highest level of wellness.
Originally from California, Kosek received her medical degree from Boston University before returning to California, where she completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then completed fellowship training in infectious diseases at Johns Hopkins.
Kosek has spent most of her career working in the fields of public health and medical research in Mexico, Honduras, Brazil and Peru, where she lived with her family for 15 years. Kosek, her husband and two children spend their free time exploring the area.
