A panel of judges will select the top poster presentations, which will be announced at the conclusion of Research Day.<\/li>\n<li>Notification of Oral presentation: February 7, 2022<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\">Abstract Requirements:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Please submit the abstract as a Word document, using Arial 11 pt. font.<\/li>\n<li>Include your name as part of the file name (i.e., Johnson-Mary-Abstract.doc).<\/li>\n<li>At the top of the document, bold the title and list the names of the authors, with the presenting author\u2019s name underlined, i.e.:<strong style=\"line-height: 1.5\">The effects of marigolds on men on the moon. Jones J, Smith RF, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Parker G.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The abstract should not exceed one page or approximately 350 words.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the file using the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/infectious-diseases\/id-biodefense-research-day\/abstract-submission-form\/\">online submission form<\/a><\/strong>, and click the \u201cAttach Abstract\u201d button.<\/li>\n<li>Check the appropriate box on the submission form to indicate if the presenting author is a graduate student, resident, clinical fellow, research fellow, or other.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h6>If you have problems with the submission process, contact: 434-243-6832<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Instructions Abstracts\u00a0will be accepted via the on-line submission form only.
