Biodefense pathogens are those that pose a risk to national security and\/or public health, as defined by the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.niaid.nih.gov\/topics\/biodefenserelated\/biodefense\/pages\/cata.aspx\">National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases&#8217;
