The Robert J. Kadner Memorial Fund was established in August 2005 as a tribute to Robert Kadner\u2019s outstanding career in teaching and research in microbiology at the University of Virginia. The fund supports the Robert J. Kadner Lectureship on the Frontiers of Bacterial Physiology.<\/p>\n
The annual lecture\/symposium will feature the nation’s leading scientists in the fields of bacterial pathogenesis and physiology, including many of Bob\u2019s own students and fellows. The lectureship honors Robert Kadner\u2019s enthusiasm for science and his zest for learning about the unknown.<\/p>\n
