Wagner Fellowship to support his research.\u00a0 This fellowship was established in 1997 through the generosity of Bob and Mary Wagner with the goal of supporting graduate students in the basic sciences in the School of Medicine. \u00a0 Dr. Wagner\u2019s notable contributions to UVA include his service as the first Chair of the Department of Microbiology and as the founding Director of the UVA Cancer Center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to our graduate student Saad Hussain on being awarded a prestigious Robert R.
