General Information

We are delighted you will be presenting at the conference. The lecture hall will have a computer, projector and screen, as well as a microphone.

We recommend formatting presentations in the 16:9 widescreen ratio.  The projectors is HD formatted and would look best in the 16:9 ratio.  The following is a blog post with some helpful tips to think about when creating PowerPoint presentations to ensure they look their best when projected. Oral Presentation

The oral presentation is the traditional platform presentation. The format consists of a 15-minute presentation of the background, methods, results and discussion/conclusion with approximately 3 minutes for questions and discussion with the audience.

The posters can be as large as 6’wide by 4’ high, but can be any size up to that.  They will be presented on 6′ x  4′ poster boards.  Authors will be expected to be present with their poster during their assigned poster session. Two poster sessions will be held, the first on Wednesday May 30 from 8-10pm, and the second on Thursday May 31  from 8-10pm.
