Know where to find them so that you can return to the sites(s) for <a href=\"https:\/\/security.virginia.edu\/information-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UVA\/academic policies<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/uvamedicalcenter.policytech.com\/?anonymous=true&amp;siteid=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UVA Health System policies<\/a> when needed.<\/p>\n<h4>Email policy from UVA Health System<\/h4>\n<p>Since you just received your UVA Health email (@uvahealth.org), please read\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uvamedicalcenter.navexone.com\/content\/docview\/?app=pt&amp;source=unspecified&amp;docid=6553&amp;anonymous=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the email policy from UVA Health.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Generative AI policy<\/h4>\n<p>Make sure you have read and are <strong>VERY<\/strong> familiar with <a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/policies\/uva-school-of-medicine-som-md-program-policy-on-generative-ai\/\">UVA SOM MD Program&#8217;s Policy on Generative AI<\/a>. Pay extra special attention to the given examples so you have a solid understanding of how we use Gen AI here.<\/p>\n<h4>Other policies<\/h4>\n<p>A small subset of students who handle sensitive data (typically engaged in a research effort) will have additional policy requirements for information security and data protection. Contact Mr. Moody for more information.<\/p>\n<h4>Suspicious email and IT security incidents<\/h4>\n<p>If you receive a suspicious email, forward it to abuse@virginia.edu . There is a site where you can view the <a href=\"http:\/\/security.virginia.edu\/security-alerts-and-warnings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">security alerts currently affecting UVA<\/a> .
