We use an audience response system from PointSolutions (owned by Echo360) to encourage audience participation and receive feedback.<\/p>\n

For Orientation Checklist<\/h3>\n

Use your account and answer a polling question between Wed, Aug 6th 1pm and Fri, Aug 8th 10am.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to ttpoll.com<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Click Sign In<\/strong>. (Upper right hand corner)<\/li>\n
  3. Enter your Email <\/strong>(use your @virginia.edu email account) and click Sign In<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. You will be prompted for your UVA username and password, after you enter you will be prompted for Duo.<\/li>\n
  5. Enter the Session ID SOMLS<\/strong> in the\u00a0Enter Session ID <\/em>field.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Join Session<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. You will be prompted to answer a question about your computing setup – do that!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For future use<\/h3>\n

    When faculty open a poll they will post or announce the Session ID so that you can respond to the poll using a browser at ttpoll.com<\/a><\/p>\n

    \n

    A mobile app is available, but most students find that it is NOT beneficial and prefer to use their web browser.<\/p>\n

    When used in the classroom, know that you likely have a Med Ed Technology staff member in the room to help with technical issues. Otherwise email mededweb@virginia.edu<\/a> with issues.<\/p>\n
