We support a variety of systems including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.med.virginia.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">learn.med<\/a> aka VMed &#8211; Learning Mgmt System and curriculum management<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/oasis.med.virginia.edu\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OASIS<\/a> &#8211; Student\u00a0scheduling, rostering, evaluations, grades<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/applications\/classroom-response-systems-clickers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Classroom Response Systems<\/a> &#8211; Point Solutions (formerly Turning Point)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/applications\/virtual-slides\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Virtual Slides<\/a> &#8211; Virtual microscopy<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/applications\/vh-dissector\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VH Dissector<\/a> &#8211; Virtual human body software provided\u00a0for anatomy instruction<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/secure-storage\/\">Secure Storage<\/a> &#8211; UVa and\u00a0Health System approved options for cloud storage.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/applications\/podcasts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lecture Capture<\/a>\u00a0or lecture capture for the classrooms in <a href=\"https:\/\/vmed.hosted.panopto.com\/Panopto\/Pages\/Home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Panopto<\/a><\/li>\n<li>SimCapture\u00a0&#8211; Clinical Skills Center and Simulation Centers, OSCE events<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/for-students\/resource-scheduler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Resource Scheduler<\/a> &#8211; requesting and scheduling SOM resources (rooms)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although we have may to refer you to others for expert-level help, we can typically assist students with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/applications\/using-epic\/\">EPIC<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; Accessing the system from your personal computing devices.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/general-tech\/virtual-private-network-vpn-devices\/\">Virtual Private Network (VPN)<\/a> &#8211; to access on-grounds and clinical systems securely<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/general-tech\/computing-security\/\">Secure Computing<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/med-ed-tech\/support-for-students\/general-tech\/secure-storage\/\">Secure Data Storage<\/a> practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The most reliable way to contact us is via email to\u00a0<a class=\"external-link\" href=\"mailto:mededweb@virginia.edu\">mededweb@virginia.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Educational Technology team is here to support our students in the classrooms, labs, and skills centers at the School of Medicine.
