What do you like about being a fellow? Schedule is great; leadership/faculty are very
approachable and down to earth.
Favorite things in Charlottesville: All the nearby hiking and museums; food is great, too

Hobbies: Playing golf, boating, exercising, listening to music, cooking fun recipes with my
fiancé, and watching anime.
What do you like about being a fellow? Being surrounded by awesome colleagues and
mentors who are always available.
Favorite things in Charlottesville: Wine tasting, visiting new restaurants, hiking trails, and visiting the golf courses.
Favorite nephrology trivia: The number of functional nephrons per kidney is 700k–1.8
million.
Fictional world of choice: A world in which humans can actually have superpowers.

What do you like about being a nephrology fellow at UVA?
You feel like you are part of a close-knit family. Everybody looks out for one another and is always willing to help. Not to mention, all the attendings are incredibly nice, very knowledgeable, and always willing to teach.
Favorite things to do in Charlottesville:
The food scene is impressive; there are too many places to mention, and we still have many places to try. Over 40 wineries, and there are a lot of niche dive bars and distilleries as well.
Favorite nephrology trivia:
Will state a joke instead of trivia: what do nephrologists say to non-compliant patients? Urine trouble!
Fictional world of choice:
Take me to New Zealand, and put me in the Lord of the Rings world.
Celebrity dinner guest: Ryan Reynolds, hopefully in the character of Deadpool. Costume optional.

I can learn from learned faculties.
