Hello! My name is Ahmed Ibrahim. I’m originally from Cairo, Egypt, where I grew up, and went to Zagazig School of Medicine in a beautiful city near Cairo. Since my graduation from medical school in 2011, I have enjoyed working with kids. I started my pediatric residency in Egypt, and completed my pediatric residency in NYC. My passion toward Child Neurology started in medical school, especially with managing patients with epilepsy. My main area of interest is Clinical Neurophysiology and managing different type of epilepsy, and my research interests lie in Cognitive Neuroscience and finding new ways to manage abnormal behaviors in kids, such as Autism or ADHD. I like to travel, meet new friends from all over the world, and invite them to come and visit Cairo, Alexandria, and Luxor in Egypt. Since I moved to Charlottesville, I have gone fishing every week. I enjoy Virginia’s nature, reservoirs, forests, and catching big fish.
