Having completed terms as the Associate Dean for Research and the Director of the Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies at the University of Alaska, Dr. Driscoll is an experienced researcher and research administrator with a specialization in developing and supporting strategic research initiatives involving transdisciplinary teams of scientists and stakeholders. His research combines anthropological and epidemiological techniques to understand and respond to social and environmental determinants of population health, particularly in culturally-distinct communities. His research has been funded by AHRQ, CDC, EPA, NIH, NSF, RWJF, and SAMHSA. He has published widely, including in the Journal of Rural Health, Health Promotion Practice, the International Journal of Circumpolar Health, and the Journal of Health Communication.
