Armin Harandi, MD
Dr. Armin Harandi is a fellowship-trained Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon. He completed his Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee Replacement) Fellowship at the University of Virginia. He also completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh where he was trained in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeries and worked closely with the Pittsburgh Pirates team physicians.After completing his training, he joined a busy practice in Northern Michigan where he performed more than 1200 surgeries over four years. Dr. Harandi joined the Culpeper Division of the University of Virginia Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2015.Dr. Harandi specializes in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of knee, shoulder, and ankle, knee ligament (ACL) and meniscus injuries, shoulder rotator cuff and labrum injuries, and fracture care.
