Luke Vass, (Fox/Loughran labs) has been selected as the 2026 MCBD Outstanding Student. Luke will thus be the MCBD nominee for the BIMS Peach and Hungerford Awards.
In addition to Luke, Michelle Barbeau (Lazarra lab) and Claire Conarroe (Bullock lab) were nominated. The committee were unanimous in acknowledging the quality of the nominated trainees and the difficulty in separating them.
