Fellowship Programs at UVA
The University of Virginia Department of Pathology offers six ACGME-accredited fellowship programs in Blood Banking & Transfusion Medicine, Cytopathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Lab Genetics & Genomics, and Neuropathology, one ComACC-accredited program in Clinical Chemistry, and an American Board of Pathology-approved Gynecologic Pathology program.

Interested candidates should submit the CAP Standardized Fellowship Application, current CV, 3 letters of recommendation, personal statement, medical school or graduate school transcript, and a copy of the USMLE transcript (if an M.D. or D.O.). Electronic submission is preferred. Applications will be accepted starting July 1st, twenty-four months prior to the start date of the program academic year, and positions will remain open until filled.
