Congratulations to Dr. Timothy Martin on his receipt of the Cancer Biology (CBIO) Research Program Pilot Award from the University of Virginia.
Pilot funding is intended to spark new projects, strengthen collaborations, and build infrastructure that aligns
with Cancer Center priorities. The UVACCC Pilot Project Program is designed to generate high-impact preliminary data and catalyze
innovative cancer research.
Tim’s research focuses on understanding how the genetic drivers of cancer fuel tumor evolution and mechanistically defining how these genes contribute to various tumor phenotypes.
