Database system and data warehouse design, development, query, management, data integration, and the supporting infrastructures of hardware, servers, networking, and Web access for clinical trials and observational studies.<\/p>\n

Clinical informatics and analytics of very large healthcare databases in CKD\/ESKD studies, i.e. Veterans Affairs healthcare databases, United States Renal Data System, and\u00a0Medicare databases.<\/p>\n

Computer algorithm and program development, i.e. \u00a0algorithms for efficient queries and complex computations of very large database in SQL and SAS, simulations of Markov modeling and Markov decision processes in C++, and\u00a0applications of iPhone and iPad in SWIFT and Xcode.<\/p>\n

Research Interests:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Database systems; Query processing and optimization; XML Query algebras for semi-structured data systems and integration.<\/p>\n

Clinical informatics for kidney diseases.<\/p>\n
