Education

The University of Virginia Department of Plastic Surgery offers an integrated residency program. Our ACGME/RRC approved program is designed to provide a broad education in plastic surgery.  Our goal is to train independent, competent plastic surgeons who excel and become leaders in their field and communities and are eligible and qualified to become Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

The University of Virginia Department of Plastic Surgery enjoys a proud history and list of accomplishments. The training program is mature and time-tested, and the environment provided by the University and Charlottesville is superb for learning and families.
